PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Jezabel’s, a modern expression of Northwestern Argentine traditions, owned by Chef and Designer Jezabel Careaga, is closing its original location in the Fitler Square neighborhood, and relocating to the space next to Jezabel’s Studio in West Philadelphia.

«It is with mixed emotions that I face this time of change and new beginnings because my beloved Café in Fitler Square will be closing its doors and relocating to 45th Street. I truly appreciate the Fitler Square community support and patronage for over 8 1/2 years. I’ve seen my dream come true and shared food that is very close to my roots and family; yet as dreams keep evolving I’m happy to be part of the West Philadelphia community. The opportunity to keep expanding and creating new concepts that reflect my state in life is refreshing and powerful in itself,» said Careaga.

The Fitler space will be closing its doors for good at the end of the month. As a celebration, the Café has scheduled two special Empanadas Cooking Classes, one on December 21 with focus on vegetarian fillings and one on December 28 for those interested in more traditional fillings, plus a Farewell Cocktail Party on the last day, December 31.

The new location will be able to accommodate more Café guests, as well as host large groups, private parties and special events. The Café will reopen its doors on January 5 with a revamped menu that will still include everyone’s favorite Argentine staples, and new hours of operation for the winter, Mondays thru Sundays from 8:00AM to 6:00PM.
